The Stratford Language Institute’s (SLI) mission is dedicated to creating and supporting a professional, respectful, and motivating learning environment, through which students simultaneously develop and strengthen their language abilities across the four domains of reading, writing, listening, and speaking, as well as their academic skills, and their intercultural knowledge.
The program establishes skills that students need in order to succeed in English-speaking countries, work environments, and university classrooms. By addressing the four disciplines and incorporating hands-on activities through the Communicative Approach, the curriculum enables students to develop and excel.
Our English language programs are designed to provide you with the essential language skills to live, work, study, and travel with confidence. We’ll provide you with the tools to improve your English in the areas of reading, writing, speaking, and listening, enabling you to develop and excel both academically and professionally.
We believe in preparing students for the real world. Students at SLI learn how to live in an English-speaking world, understand others, and make themselves understood. We use the Communicative Approach to create realistic situations that expose students to authentic English.
